Tonight on ESPN at 6 p.m. Florida playing for their tournament lives. Vandy in good shape. Tough game for Vandy as Florida will be playing with high purpose and will be hard to beat at Gainesville. Vandy a Sweet 16 team in my opinion and maybe better with some luck. Florida is a good team and playing at home is a big advantage. If Vandy wins, this team could be really special come tournament time. I give the edge to Florida in this one. Vandy will lock up the second seed in the East if they win against Fl tonight or at home Sat versus SC, which would get them a first round bye in SEC tourney. Georgia will be a pretty dangerous team in SEC tourney. They are playing well. Took Vandy to the brink in Nashville last Thurs. and knocked off Florida at home last Saturday. This should be a good tourney.
Ky, of course, is the favorite, but not the prohibitive favorite. A team like Vandy, UT, State, even Fl could knock them off. Even teams like SC and Ole Miss have a shot. Kentucky struggles shooting the ball and it could come back to haunt them if not in the SEC tourney, the big tourney.
It'll be tough for Al and AU. Maybe they can do something special in the tourney. That would be big for both Anthony and Lebo.
