Auburn falls to Ole Miss, 84-74

Tigers drop to 10-11, 1-5. No.18 Ole Miss moves to 16-4, 4-2. Ole Miss shot 65% in the second half (17-of-0f-26) and 4-of-5 from trifecta. Auburn's defense just lets them down in the second half. They just can't finish games. AU led at halftime, 41-38. Tay Waller was five-of-11 from three point range for the game and was on fire in the first half. He  finished with 21. Chris Warren led the Rebels, a good basketball team, with 20 points on four-of-seven three point shooting. Terrico White added 19 and seven boards. Ole Miss outrebounded Auburn 40-35, but Auburn did get 16 offensive boards with Brendon Knox pulling down five. Lucas Hargrove had 11 points and eight boards for AU.

Terrance Henry had nine points and 10 boards for Ole Miss.

Will have preview of Alabama at Auburn tomorrow morning. Game at 3 p.m. on SEC Network. Ole Miss plays at home against Arkansas tomorrow at 3.

Another huge game in the SEC is Vandy at Kentucky at 3 p.m. on ESPN. Might want to tivo that game if you're watching Al-AU. Could be a classic. You never know. It's at Rupp, so could be tough for Commodores. They are playing well though. May be playing the best team in the country right now in one of the toughest arenas in the country to win in.
