Tonight's games

Alabama at Mississippi State at 8 p.m. on CSS. Alabama trying to hurt State's chance of getting to the tourney. Just need to improve on both ends of the floor. Mikhail Torrance and JaMychal Green need to play big. UAB at Central Florida at 6 p.m. No TV. Every game is a must for the Blazers if they want to make the tourney for the first time in Mike Davis's four-year tenure. Blazers need to step up. Elijah Millsap showed signs of his old self on Saturday. Needs to keep it up. Howard Crawford playing well.

Auburn at Ole Miss at 7 p.m. on the SEC Network, CW 21-AU has been so close all year. Think Lebo deserves another year. They play hard and when Tay Waller, Frankie Sullivan, Lucas Hargrove and DeWayne Reed are  shooting well, they are a pretty good bball team. Need to play good defense and hit the boards. Ole Miss not a great rebounding team. AU has a shot. Ole Miss playing for a bid here on out.

Other key games:

Pittsburgh at Notre Dame, 6 p.m. ESPN2. Big game for the Irish. Pitt looking pretty good for tourney should be in. Should be a great matchup. Notre Dame good basketball team, just needs to almost win out in regular season and make some noise in BIg East tourney for a bid.

Virginia Tech at Boston College-6 p.m ESPNU-Hokies in a tenuous situation with tourney. Winning games are a must for them. They have a shot at a bid. Boston College pretty much playing the spoiler.

Florida State at North Carolina-6 p.m. ESPN- Florida State playing for a bid. Carolina has had a disaster season. Playing for pride now.

Texas A&M at Baylor-8 p.m. ESPNU-Baylor in pretty good shape. A&M good shape. Pretty good matchup.

San Diego State at BYU-8 p.m. CBS CSN-BYU, no.11 in the country in Coaches' Poll. They must be for real. Like to see them play. San Diego State playing for a bid. Big game for them.

Oklahoma State at Texas- 8 p.m. ESPN2-Big rivalry game in Big 12. Texas should be in. Oklahoma State needs to play well here on out.

I'll be out until Friday, but will be back in on Friday ready for the weekend.
