Here's the schedule for the NFL playoffs this weekend: Today
3:30 CST New York Jets (9-7) @ Cincinnati Bengals (10-6): Line Cincy 2 1/2.
Jets try to use defense to stuff Carson Palmer and Ochocinco. Cedric Benson could be a factor at running back. Jets will use their running game to try and control the clock. Could be a lower scoring affair.
7 p.m. Philadelphia Eagles (11-5) @ Dallas Cowboys (11-5): Line Dallas 3 1/2.
Dallas hasn't won a playoff game since 1996, but Jerry Jones believes this is his most talented team since then. Tony Romo on a roll. Philly needs to come back from their 24-0 loss to Dallas last week. Dallas has already beaten the Eagles twice this year. Can they beat them three times?
Noon: Baltimore Ravens (9-7) @ New England Patriots (10-6): Line New England 3 1/2.
Patriots come in hobbling with the loss of Wes Welker, but believe his backup, Julian Edelman, can step up. Brady great at home in playoffs (8-0). Baltimore will use Ray Lewis and defense to try to stop Brady and Randy Moss, and Ray Rice and Willis McGahee will handle a stout running game for the Ravens. Can Joe Flacco throw the ball? Patriots a little down defensively this year.
Green Bay Packers (11-5) @ Arizona Cardinals (10-6): LIne: Pick'em.
Aaron Rodgers and Pack are hot. The Packers qb has been piling up the numbers and has a good receiving corps to throw to. Ryan Grant is a highly capable running back. Defense has been solid all year. Beat the Cards handily last week. Can Cards D stop Rodgers and company, and can Kurt Warner and Larry Fitzgerald execute in the passing game? Those are the question marks for the defending NFC champs.
