SEC today

Alabama vs Kentucky -Noon: 'Bama hoping to play out of their minds and compete with the No.1 Wildcats. Wildcats trying to continue their run to a No.1 seed in NCAA's. 'Bama will have to control Cousins and Patterson in the middle and control Wall and Bledsoe from driving and scoring. If 'Bama can force UK to shoot from the outside, they could make it interesting. 'Bama has athletes, but it has to have a lot of heart, great defense and good shooting both from the field and the line.

Tennessee vs. Ole Miss-2:15:

UT in great shape, now just playing for higher seeding in tournament. I see Tenn as a five or six seed in tourney right now, but if they win this thing and beat Kentucky doing it (assuming UK beats 'Bama), they could move up to a three. Ole Miss in a must win situation today. They have to beat Tn today and Kentucky tomorrow if it's Ky. That's a tall order. I think a victory today is a start, but I don't think they're in unless they make it to final and they may have to win it.

Florida vs. Ms. State-6:30:

Important game for both teams, particularly State. State needs to probably reach the finals and may have to win it. Florida in pretty good shape though a victory tonight would cement it. Two teams that can shoot the ball. Florida has better inside scoring and are a more consistent outside shooting team. Could be best game of the day.

Vandy vs. Georgia- 8:45:

This is a tough matchup for Vandy. UGA beat Vandy by 12 at their place and lost by two in overtime in Nashville. Vandy had to come back from a six-point deficit in the last minute to tie and win it in OT. Vandy needs to shoot the ball well. Ogilvy and company have to be able to bang with Trey Thompkins, a very good inside player. Travis Leslie has also caused Vandy problems from the outside. Should be a great game.
