Lakers, Magic win

Lakers just have choke hold on Jazz at LA. Win 111-103. Jazz just can't win in LA. Still think they can make it a series, but can't win because of Lakers' home court advantage. Kobe with 30. Andrew Bynum with a monster game, 17 points, 14 boards. Pau Gasol 22 points, 15 boards. That guy is so good. Lakers outrebound Jazz 58-40, but turn the ball over 20 times to Jazz' 10. Lakers 27-36 from line (75%). Jazz 19-of-28. Lakers shoot 50.6 % from floor. Paul Millsap, UAB player Eli Millsap's brother, goes for 26 and 11. Jazz a very good team, just finding stopping Lakers down low next to impossible.Carlos Boozer 20 points, 12 rebounds. Deron Williams 15 points, nine assists, but not enough. I'm a Jazz fan, I like how they play the game; very professional. And they play so hard and act right off the court. It's not over, but looking tough for the Jazz.

Magic destroy Hawks,114-71, to go up 1-0. This could be a sweep. Dwight Howard 21 points and 12 boards. Only three fouls for a change. If he stays in the game, they are very difficult to beat. If Magic can keep sinking their threes (9-23 last night, decent, but have been on fire) they could be a difficult matchup for the team they'll face in the next round. Thought Hawks might give them a series, but if the first game is any indication, that's not going to happen.Magic just playing very well right now. Not sure if they can win title, don't think they have enough, but they're a contender.

Tonight at 8 on TNT, San Antonio at Phoenix. This is a series to watch. Phoenix on fire. Steve Nash at 36 years old playing better than ever. Spurs very good. Could be a terrific series. Celtics-Cavs Friday at 6 p.m. on ESPN.
