Four factors that will determine who cuts down the net in Indianapolis in April

1. Defense-Who could win a slug it out defensive game-like a Big East teamin that scenario 2.Three-point shooting-Who can outgun another team. A team like Louisville, Villanova or Syracuse can do well in that scenario or a Vandy, Tennessee, a New Mexico or a Baylor, or, of course, Duke. Their big three of John Scheyer, Kyle Singler and Nolan Smith can light it up from three. They combined for 65 points in Duke's 82-50 win over hapless UNC. Singler scored 25 and Scheyer and Smith had 20.

3. Free throw shooting-Again Duke, Vandy contenders there. BYU good free throw shooting team.

4.Rebounding-DeMarcus Cousins, Patrick Patterson look good in that case. 'Cuse a great rebounding team. Kansas, rugged, can rebound, put back and control the defensive glass.

It's wide open. Will look at Conference tourneys next week and fill out the bracket early the following week. Would love your thoughts.

Like Ky in the SEC tourney with Vandy, UT having a shot.
