This is totally uncalled for, but the girl slung her and she was retaliating. Totally out of bounds, but pretty wild really. Griner was suspended for last two games of regular season and may be suspended for postseason (Conference and NCAA tourneys-Baylor, her team, is going to the Big Dance). We'll see what happens. Skip Bayless of ESPN's First Take kind of took up for Griner saying she has probably been tortured like this all season by other players and just finally exploded. Could be true. The other girl definitely provoked. To that extreme, no, but there was provocation. Griner:
