Analysis:

AU lives by the three and dies by the three. If they shoot it well, they've got a chance. If not, it's tough. LSU has struggled but they've got three good players in Tasmin Mitchell, Storm Warren and Bo Spencer. They had a great year last year winning 27 games and the SEC regular season championship and made it to the second round of the NCAA tourney before losing to eventual national champion North Carolina, 84-70, though they did have the lead in the second half. They beat an excellent Butler team in the first round.

Trent Johnson inherited a good team from John Brady, and he did a good job in his first year. We'll see how he fares from here on out.

For AU to win, Frankie Sullivan, DeWayne Reed and Tay Waller are going to have to stroke it and Lucas Hargrove-who can also shoot-and company have to battle in the middle. It's tough in the Maravich Center, but the Tigers have a shot at the W. Boy do they need it.
