Billy Donovan was highly complimentary of Jeff Lebo after the game saying AU could have folded up the tent, but kept playing hard throughout the season. They must have given up six dunks to Alex Tyus though, who had 24 points. Chadler Parsons added another 21. Frankie Sullivan played a great game for Auburn with 27 with some fantastic lay-up finishes on the night. DeWayne Reed was his usual warrior self with 18. Tay Waller had 0 points. That's amazing.
I still like Jeff Lebo. His teams play hard. Maybe he's not cut out for Auburn. He's a Pennsylvania guy and he may have trouble relating to Southern players. I'm not sure what the problem is, but his teams seem to play hard. If I were Jay Jacobs, I would give him one more year to see how he does in the new arena. His teams play really hard. I like that. There was no quit in AU this year and they were a good offensive team this year. If Lebo does come back he needs to work on his defensive coaching. He can do that.
