Analysis: Auburn is really on a slide and Alabama is playing better, especially on the defensive end, which, really, they've done most of the year.
For the Tigers, they're going to have to play better defense and play their up-tempo style, get transition points and hit a pretty good percentage on their threes.
For the Tide, it's play their up-tempo, hard-nosed style and try to grind a win out on the road.
Turnovers could be a key stat in this game. Who takes better care of the basketball and who can knock down their shots at a higher percentage will win.
Should be a good game. Kind of like the Tide. Auburn just is struggling, particularly in the second half and the 'Bama players are starting to get the way Anthony Grant wants them to play: frenetic, hard-nosed and fluid offensively. The fluidity in the offense is not there, but it's coming along. Auburn will have to shoot well and hold their own on the boards.
